Sigh! Another very backdated post. Not going to comment in order to be fair. As far as i concern, my friends and i were pretty satisfied with the dinner at Market Hall in Pavilion, especially the portion of each serving (excluding the Gnocchi).

Tomato, mozzarella, garlic, anchovies, fresh chili, prawns and arugula.

Fresh salmon tossed in vodka, citrus zest and mascarpone cream sauce.

Fresh crab meat and chilli wine sauce.

Spinach and ricotta dumpling tossed in roasted pumpkin sauce.

*~ Crumbs @ Pavilion ~*

Yay! Crumbs is finally here in Pavilion! I did not manage to have this when i was in Hong Kong. Now, i can have it whenever i want!

House Crumbs was free. Since i opted for a large cup of frozen yogurt, i could choose two more toppings. I had the original mochi and mini meringue. The mini meringue had nothing to shout about. The mochi, on the other hand, was nice to chew with the frozen yogurt. House Crumbs was the best. I think i can just have the frozen yogurt with just the crumbs... and more crumbs... and more crumbs...!

I wanted to have another cup immediately after i finished the first one but bf stopped me. Sigh.

I will be back for more!

*~ Ice-cream Fondue @ Baskin Robbins ~*

God! This picture was taken on this year's Valentine's Day! I really have to be more active in blogging nowadays.

So yea, we finally tried ice-cream fondue for once in our life. And, we don't think we will try again in near future. Nothing to shout about. But, i might give it a try again if it is from Haagen Daz. :)

*~ 7 Sins of Chocolate ~*

I heard too much about this little treat. I wished it could be my birthday cake though it was small, equivalent to a slice of cake. And lovely bf made my wish came true.

I like the packaging. Cute.

With 7 different components of chocolates.

But i don't really know what are the 7 components. I can't really find info on this little treat except for the following:

"...starts with a layer of smooth chocolate ganache, a layer of chocolate cake, topped up with light and airy milk chocolate mousse, a dusting of cocoa powder, a sprinkle of crunchy pure cocoa nibs for texture, and couverture pearls resting comfortably over the top!"

I think the chocolate ganache is now the middle layer rather than the chocolate cake.

"And for all those ladies who are watching their diets, yes it is made entirely of chocolate, but mostly dark chocolate. So if calories are your enemy, then fear not for dark chocolate has significantly less calories than other chocolates AND is a must for a happy healthy heart!"

Looking at it, i could only observe 6 components and i don't know where was the other component. Perhaps, it had been mixed with another component. It was below my expectation. It was not as sinful as the name suggests. It did not give me the excitement. It was not sweet. So, for those who prefer eating something which is not sweet, this can be a suggestion but not a recommendation. Honestly, it was totally bland, especially the mousse.

Of course, i felt it was so sweet in my heart because it was from my dear. :)

~* All The Way From Taiwan *~

I told Ms Chan about this bubble tea all the way from Taiwan at Pavilion after reading Taufulou's blog. So, when we were there on the first day of Raya, we decided to give it a try.

Honey Lemon Aloe and Yakult Green Tea.

I love my Honey Lemon Aloe because it could quench my thirst at that time and it had lots of aloe vera bits. But Ms Chan preferred drinking her Yakult Green Tea. To me, it tasted like antibiotic liquid. However, i must admit that the bubbles (pearls) were really nice! No half-cooked pearls. Not too big. Not too chewy.

~* Ocha Balls @ Snowflake *~

I met up with Pui Yen today after her work. We had lunch at Sushi Zanmai. I will post about it soon. Then, we had dessert at Snowflake in Pavilion after walking for nearly 2 hours. To tell you the truth, i think we spent our time sitting and eating than walking around. Going out with is like this unless one or both of us really want to buy something.

*~ The Unexpected Meet Up ~*

I really had the urge to shop on Saturday until i gave a call to Pui Yen which i then ended up joining her with Siew Wah and Sook Leng. All of them are my former secondary schoolmates.

#1 Sakae Sushi

I had my lunch right before meeting them. Most of the time, i looked at them eating, took pictures and at last, i had a plate of fried maki which is my favourite there.

Wheee! This means that i don't need to go all the way to Subang just for this dessert. Somehow, i still think the one at Subang is nicer. I don't know why.

Only Pui Yen had this and the rest of us stared at her eating. She was having problem with binge eating on that day.

Creamy Mushroom Pasta.
Love this to the max! The mushroom taste was so strong and the sauce was so creamy. Yum yum... (though the garnishing was a failure).

*~ If I Could Have The 3 Gadgets Altogether ~*

If you remember the post that i found my blue ticket, i actually won 2 movie passes to watch 2012. Pui Yen accompanied me to Zouk to collect the passes. I did not manage to get my purple ticket. But what's the use if i got the purple ticket. No one is free to accompany me to the Yahoo! finale party. I also got two necklaces which i think are nice. I love the purple envelope too.

Then, we went back to Pavilion to have lunch at Little Ben. The food there is quite affordable. Pui Yen and i ordered the set lunch of the day, I-Chi-Ban Chicken Rice at RM9.90 nett.

I don't know why but i think this is cute!

The set lunch came with a cup of lemongrass drink and apple. The lemongrass drink was totally not our type. We did not really drink it.

But the main dish was very nice. The skin of the fried chicken was sooo crispy and actually the chicken was big, okay. Just that the angle of this picture makes it small. Then, the braised egg and beancurd were flavourful. I also love the minced chicken sauce to be eaten with the rice.

Besides having tea time at two places (Yes, she wanted to eat the glutinous rice balls with soya milk after having a glass of Milo Ais.), we also walked around to search for the best deal for the Lumix LX3 i want. There is one shop at Low Yat which really gives me a very good deal. Hopefully i will be getting it soon.

I told my mum how much is the initial price of the camera, how good is the deal offered to me, and also how much i need to pay after take into the consideration the proceed from the sale of the old camera. She does not really agree that i get the camera because the price is equivalent to the cheapest Lenovo laptop.

But i want the camera so much because i have the interest to snap pictures of what's going on around me. Besides my childhood, i don't really have many pictures especially during my secondary school time. It's like part of my life is missing. I don't want that to continue to happen. I want to have 'records' of what had taken place in my life especially with people i treasure the most.

Perhaps mum should ask me to choose between an Ipod Touch and the Lenovo laptop. Yes, i am planning to buy an Ipod Touch since my music player could not be used anymore. And with the Ipod Touch, i can use it as an electronic organizer besides surfing the net. But why a laptop? Because the desktop at home can't really function well when it comes to loading pages. Oh well, but still i can tolerate with the desktop. So how? Suggestions, please!!!!!

Whatever it is, camera comes first! The rest will be planned after i start to work. It can be planned in advance if i can get some 'sponsorships' as soon as possible. Thank you!

~* No More Sandwich From This Cafe! *~

As promised long time ago, i went out with my dearest girl friends today for lunch. Where? West 57th St. Cafe at Pavilion which Mun Yee wanted to go. No special occasion. It was just a normal hang out session after working so hard during the semester break and before i really get busy again with studies.

My Jumbo Veal Sausage with Cheese Sandwich. I did not expect for this! Jumbo Veal Sausage? Not even close to jumbo anyway. Similar to the Club Sandwich i had last time, but it only involved one layer of sliced tomatoes, one thin layer of cheese, and a layer of sausage.

Seak Ling's West 57th Club Sandwich! Something that i tried for once and i never want to try again.

Anyway, if i happen to be there again, i will never order anything to do with sandwich! To me, all the sandwiches are very similar to each other and i just don't like the sandwiches there.

Hainanese Chicken Chop. I went there twice and to date, this is what i like the most.

We did not plan for this, alright? It was a coincidence that we all wore the similar shade of colour.

Later on in the evening, i had a date with another girlfriend of mine, Sook Leng. Even she was wearing the same shade of colour! Clueless on where to have a drink, we went to the newly-opened Pak Hailam at Sungai (Sungei) Wang which happens to be a subsidiary of King's Confectionery Sdn. Bhd. I am not really sure about the food there because i have not tried but i can tell you that the drinks there are better than Old Town. Unlike Old Town, the drinks are less expensive and they come in taller glasses.

I also bought some pao(s) from Pak Hailam after mum gave me the greenlight to go ahead. Only 1 buck for each. The choices they have include red bean paste, kaya, chicken and custard. Yum yum... I am going to have pao for breakfast tomorrow.

Anyway, i think i have overstuffed myself with food recently. It is time to stop before i gain back the few kilos that i have lost though a lot of people told me that i looked better when i was chubbier back then.
