*~ Mr. Mao At Pavilion ~*

My two cousin brothers and i went to Pavilion for movie. All's Well Ends Well 2009. It was my second time watching the same movie after the first time with Mr. [R]. I still prefer the old All's Well Ends Well movies which were funnier and more entertaining.

David and Alan.

David with his Popeye's-body t-shirt. He really wishes that he had Popeye's body. Be patient, brother. It takes time.

Mao Zedong. Mao Tze Tung. Mao Tse Tung. To be safe, let's just call him Mr. Mao. Yes, we met Mr. Mao's art figure at Pavilion and camwhored with it.

Look at my pathetic cousin brother on the phone.

Meanwhile, Alan and i did not give it a damn and we just entertained ourselves with Mr. Mao.

Peek-a-boo!

Some ballroom dancing with Mr. Mao.

Mr. Mao was doing the stretching exercise.

Muacks muacks, Mr. Mao!

~* The Eve of CNY *~

Today is Chinese New Year Eve. Most of us will be going for reunion dinner whether at home or dining outside. Initially, my mother, brother and i were supposed to go out for dinner, but my mum was later on invited by my aunt to have the reunion dinner at Genting Highlands which will be entertained by an old singer. Thus, our reunion dinner is not going to happen this evening.

Brother will not be home early enough to buy me dinner. Mum was quite worried that i am going to die of hunger at home. She was even worried when i told her that i could go out to Bukit Bintang and treat myself a nice dinner. Well, she was afraid that it will be too dangerous for me to go home by myself after the dinner.

Being a kind soul looking after his beloved little sister, worrying that his little sister going to die of starvation, and wondering what would happen to her if she were to go out alone, my brother actually offers me Domino's Pizza. Yes, he is paying for it and i am going to have pizza for dinner. Not too pathetic afterall since i am quite lazy to go out unless i am forced to. Also, i have been craving for pizza. I can't wait to order the Classified Chicken. Simply delicious!

The celebration will begin tomorrow. I hope that this new year, i am getting wealthier so that i can do both saving and spending at the same time! Eek~ I can't wait to get the pair of Gisele Bundchen Ipanema sandals that i am eyeing on.

*~ Interest On Banning Concerts ~*

Oh, yes. We have another small issue right now which is not even supposed to be an issue! PAS wants to ban Rihanna's concert for some unacceptable reasons.

Federal Territory Youth chief Kamaruzaman Mohamad used the word "unsuitable" on Rihanna claiming that she OFTEN performed suggestively and wore skimpy, sexy outfit. I thought we had gone through this issue many times before with other singers such as Mariah Carey, but in the end, the concert still went on! This homosapien used the word "often" which also indicated that there could an exception, perhaps for Rihanna's concert in Malaysia.

Even Rihanna herself had agreed to follow the regulations and the Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry was informed of her performance. Yet, i have seen no hullabaloo about it from the Ministry. Not even from the people?!!! But from who? PAS.

He even pointed his finger to Celcom that priority should be given to the eastern culture and local artistes. It does not mean that everyone will know how to grab the chance even though it is already there. Since he is so concern about the eastern culture and local artistes, why not he begins to organise something for them and be the inspiration to others to get started, instead of pointing his finger to others? Remember that when one finger is pointed to others, how many other fingers are pointing back at oneself?

I am totally "impressed" when he could even think of this in order to ban the concert:

He said Rihanna’s appearance here would result in an outflow of local currency to the United States, and in turn, cause loss to the country and suffering to the Palestinians.

Wow. Impressive!

Seriously, do they have other things to concentrate on rather than keep banning concerts? Why are they the one always doing the banning activity? To be clear, banning concerts!!! Last time, it was Avril Lavigne and now it is Rihanna. Who is next?

Come on! There are better things to be focused on! For the development of the country and society! It is best to apply the Malaysian Courts' slogan on them "BUAT KERJA!"

For more details, visit The Star Online for the banning on Rihanna's concert.

~* The Cake I *Heart* *~

Remember Clifford Too? The one invited me to the Grand Opening of San Terri Cottage at Bangsar Village II? I actually had lunch with him today.

The sandwich that he recommended.
Delicious, yet healthy.
I forget when was the last time having this kind of meal.

The best part was he gave me the whole New York Cheesecake which i always wanted. He made my wish came true!

Yummy. Actually, i could just eat the whole cake by just scooping it directly with a spoon and enjoy it while watching television, like how you enjoy half-gallon of Baskin Robbins ice-cream. But i decided to share half of the cake with someone else. Well, in the end, other thing happened. So damn sad. I should have just stuffed myself with the whole cheesecake. Fat mai fat lor.

~* Youth '09 *~

Today is the last day of Youth '09 but i ain't going. Being a good girl, i will be at home today and stay focus with my college works, i hope. But, i did go there for the past two days meeting different people. Rather than taking pictures of what was going on there, i took pictures of me with other homosapiens.

Day 1:

Me and Ben from Fly.fm. I won a Fly.fm goodies bag for myself.

With Basil and Ben.

Amin. He is also another Youth Ambassador like me.

Day 2:

Ripsta, a robber wananabe with his friend.

Foosball. 4 against 4 and they lost. =_="

Mr. [R] and Alan'Jordy'.

A nice group picture.

I will miss hanging out this bunch of homosapiens. They are fun!

*~ Another Wish Came True ~*

I did badly today for the only midterm paper of this semester. I was very dull after the paper but thanked to my dear YouthSays.com members, whom i met after the exam, and Mr. [R], i got happy again! Yea, like what was being promoted here previously, Youth '09 is going on these weekends. About that, i will have another post here soon after getting pictures from those members.

Finally, after a week, i got the chance to have a date with Mr. [R]. Yea, i can only see him once a week. Pathetic-nya. I met him at Youth '09 but we left quite early together with other members for lunch at The Mall. Supposed that both of us were going to watch a movie but then it was a bit too late because we needed to go for dinner later on. Thus, we decided to go to Old Town for a drink. Time flied very fast and i knew that i talked too much crap. Felt myself was getting more annoying. Sigh, so eager to talk to him face to face after a week. Realising that, i tried my best to keep my mouth shut on our way to Puchong for dinner. Well, at least i tried and it happened.

Yes! Shabu-shabu that i was craving terribly for the past one week and Mr. [R] made my wish came true! Indeed, he always fulfills my wishes especially when the wishes are about food! But then i think he has to stop it in the future. Since last month until today, i already had 2 Japanese and 2 steamboat buffets. I am going for dieting. Just kidding. In future, when you all see food pictures here, it is most probably because i take more photos on the food rather than eating them!

Alright, so we went to Shabu-shabu Restaurant at Bandar Puteri, Puchong. It is a steamboat buffet for RM26.50 and all the items are served on the convenyor belt like sushi. This means that you don't actually need to lift your butt up at all and you can actually control the heat with two buttons: High and Low. Yea, heating your soup in the pot using electric and not gas. Not bad for the environment. It is true that the condiment served (the mixture of sesame sauce, spring onion, sesame seed and fried shallot) is not nice but the most important thing is the chili sauce. Well, i give a thumb up for the chili sauce.

Some fried stuffs and personally, i think that there is nothing special about them.

Seasoned octopus? Okay lar. Something you can find easily at Japanese restaurants.

Thin sliced pork which i think they are famous for this. It is not at the conveyor belt and you have to get this from the person who walks up and down carrying a tray of this.

After so much of protein, we stuffed ourselves with LOTS of vegetables...

...and mushrooms.

Instead of ending the steamboat session with an egg or noodles which is the traditional way, i actually tried to have ABC soup. Yeah, they even provide all these for ABC soup making. In the end, i did it and at least, it had the taste of ABC soup though not that strong. Come on! Cooking the soup needs at least an hour and i only used few minutes to do it. What do you expect?

Overall, i still prefer Yuan's steamboat buffet in Sunway over this in Puchong simply because the price at Yuan's is cheaper and the ingredients are better. Escargots, crabs, and other seafood that you can't find at other steamboat restaurants! Aiks, except for mutton. You can only find mutton at the shabu-shabu restaurant in Puchong but not the one in Sunway.

Time really flied! A day with Mr. [R] passed with a snap and i have to wait for another looooong week before i can see him again. Sigh~

~* Youth'09 Pre-event: KL Hop-On Hop-Off *~

Yeah! Youth'09 is coming so soon; in fact, it is tomorrow. We went to some hotspots in Kuala Lumpur to distribute flyers two days ago.

Day 1:

Yesh! We were wearing this T-shirt. Cool, right?

Left to right: Jie Juan, Amin, Alex, Terrence, Kenneth.

I just adore Amin's expression here.

We were very fortunate to ride on the KL Hop-On Hop-Off bus for free and at first, we were excited about it. But, when we were in the bus for too long just to reach our next destination, the moments turned to be extremely boring! I even have the picture of Kenneth yawning but he insisted that he was about to sneeze that time.

Gadiy, the most fortunate. He got to online in the bus using his own personal laptop. Not bad. Wireless in the bus or the plan of having free wireless in KL has totally been implemented?

The usual me would find ppl taking pictures together...

...or just me alone.

Me distributing flyers to students at Chinatown a.k.a. Petaling Street.

The leftovers for group picture session. The girl on the far right is Priya!

Day 2:

Me and Jie Juan were the first to arrived at Chinatown again and we continued to distribute the leftover flyers from the day before. After that, we were still waiting for Gadiy for the new flyers. We enjoyed the famous Tau Foo Fa there, then we met up with Mohan and Asyraf.

Twister Fries? Yea~ all of us were chilling out at McD's while still waiting for Gadiy.

Asyraf was like trying to curse the F-word.

Woot! Mohan!!!

A picture was taken right before we got started for the day.

In Gadiy's car and we were heading to Bukit Bintang, our next hotspot. If you look at this picture properly, there were actually 4 heads at the back. This means that we have four passengers at the back and you know what i mean here if you try to relate back to the new law which has been enforced recently.

Feeling honoured for being the only girl there. XD

Chilling out after getting our drinks from Cold Storage.

And we were done for the day!

Since we could have so much fun by just distributing flyers, you all can EXTREME FUN on those 3 days themselves!

Let's make a BIG HOO-HAA about YOUTH'09!!!
