*~ Malacca : Worshipping The Balls ~*

I went to Malacca with boyfriend on last Saturday for a 2 days and 1 night trip. It was raining cats and dogs when he fetched me at 10 in the morning.

Either that or it was drizzling all the way. As if the dark clouds were following us all the way to Malacca.

When he was driving and could not pay much attention to me, i entertained myself with the best thing i do always. Camwhoring.

Once we reached Malacca, we went for lunch. While waiting for our turn, we took our very first picture in Malacca.

Chicken rice balls. Who does not worship the balls of Malacca?

After the lunch, we went right across the street for durian cendol.

I was trying to mix all the ingredients. It was quite tasteless when i expected this to be sweet.

At the same place, we saw this as well. Pancake with kaya (i think) in it. Nice and not sweet.

At 2 in the afternoon, it was time for us to check into Aldy Hotel. I really love the hotel. Extremely strategic location. Nice and clean room (and the bathroom as well). We were even provided with robes, sarung, hair dryer, mini fridge, safe, main Astro channels! RM161.00 (including GST) for one night stay at the hotel.

Next stop was Dataran Pahlawan.

We went to Nadeje Pastisserie Cafe which is well-known in Malacca for its french dessert, Mille Crepe. A dessert that requires huge effort.

This shop is not like those shops selling things at RM 5 per item in KL. Daiso is so much better; selling Japanese items. Snacks, cosmetics, gardening tools, kitchen utensils and so on. It is not easy for someone like me who can shop at this kind of shop because i am afraid of low quality stuffs that are cheap. I was so wrong! Even boyfriend also could not resist to grab some stuffs there.

We continued walking around the town and snapping pictures.

We also went for Malacca River Cruise.

After the river cruise, it was time for dinner. We walk all the way to this shop which is very famous for its satay celup. Steamboat ingredients but in satay sauce. Just like lunch, we queued again for this.

I told boyfriend not to eat so much first so that we could have food hunting activity at Jonker Street.

Night view of Malacca River.

Jonker Street.

Fruit candy.

Popsicle.

Errr... When it comes to this, i think KL has nicer and cheaper one.

Yam coin. Yum yum... This is my all-time favourite.

Fried oyster. I still prefer the one in Penang.

This is for mum as requested. It's made of winter melon.

Again, this is my all-time favourite. Pineapple tart.

~* Amarin Heavenly Thai *~

Mix combo.
(Money pouch, fried fish cake, fried beancurd, spring roll, prawn roll)

Tom yam soup.

Pandan chicken.

Stir fried baby kailan.

Green curry.

I don't know the name of this but it was real delicious seafood dish. The sauce was made of egg white together with other ingredients.

Steam siakap.

Deep fried garoupa in Thai 3 sauce.

Water chestnut with jackfruit in coconut milk. It seemed like i was the only one loving this dessert.

*~ Sharon's 21st Birthday ~*

It's Sharon's 21st birthday! After the exam, we went to Mid Valley to meet up with the rest at Amarin Heavenly Thai. Yes, Thai food for lunch as she wished.

She looks like Monalisa. Year 2009 version.

Knowing that she wanted to straighten her hair during the semester break, we thought of subsidising her for that. But, she gave us a shock when she reached college today with her hair straightened. She did it when we had few days in between the papers. She just could not stand any longer to have her hair straightened. Luckily, we had second plan which was getting her some Jusco gift vouchers. She loves shopping at Jusco.

Suet Mei and Gavin. Suet Mei did not feel peaceful at all while eating with Gavin buzzing around.

Seak Ling, Fira and Mun Yee.

Fira with the birthday girl.

Boyfriend and I.

Michelle Tan and Wei-I.

The one next to Sharon is Grace.

Lastly, a nice group picture.

This might also be my last time seeing Grace and Gavin before they leave to Australia in July since i will start getting busy with work soon. Sob sob...

~* Done & Alive *~

I just came out from the exam hall 55 minutes earlier. I finished all the questions, alright? How much i will get and how well i do is another matter. One booklet has 8 pages and i could only use up to 6 pages. Some questions were same or somehow similar to those questions discussed in the class before. Even those sample answers took up to half a page to one pages. I do not understand how other people could ask for another booklet of 8 pages. I did flip through the pages few times to make sure that i had written whatever i knew before passing up the answer booklet. People who took another booklet really scared me. I told myself that i wrote enough and straight to the point, nothing left in my mind, whatever i knew had been vomitted out; hence, i could pass up the paper. Writing a lot does not mean granting one with extra marks, okay?

Alright. I am waiting for the rest to come out from the exam hall. Then, we will head to Mid Valley to celebrate Sharon's birthday. Toodles!

*~ Uno, Dos, Tres, Cuatro... ~*

Boyfriend fetched me from college on last Saturday evening. He told me that he saw a lot of Middle East people gathering at one place near college. But i did not know what was happening there.

Today, i had to take the shuttle bus back to the main campus, as usual, with Seak Ling late in the evening after revising for our next and last paper. We got the car and passed by Jalan Semantan and saw the policemen blocked the road to Jalan Dungun. We did not know what was happening there but it caused a massive jam.

Now, i know what had happened on Saturday and earlier on. Click here.

We were lucky. Right before the policemen blocked the road, one of the shuttle buses managed to turn into Jalan Dungun. Seak Ling and i were able to hop into the bus. Otherwise, we had to walk all the way to the main campus which was going to be tiring after a long day. We might also become the victims of tear gas along with the rest. But, the saddest part was we missed out the whole show!

Anyway, i am done with the shittiest paper of this semester. I did it in the shittiest way. I bet the result is going very shitty as well. I feel so relieved right now as if i have finished the final exam. The truth is i have another paper to go on Friday. Although there are only several chapters to be revised, those chapters are not easy to be understood. Just like English literature, this is accounting literature until the extent that those sentences have to be paraphased so that we can understand them in the simplest way.

I can't wait for Friday.

Oh shit! It also means that i am going to start working next Monday! Boyfriend is going to have all the fun without me. Sob sob... =/

PS: Boyfriend is so evil. Night At The Museum 2 is shown in the cinema earlier than Terminator: Salvation. But last weekend, i had to accompany him to watch Terminator: Salvation first. Unfair! :(

~* Stress + Stress = Damn Stressed *~

i received a call and then i made another call
it reminded me of my 20th birthday last year
that almost went cancelled
because i wanted to cancel it
after landed myself in frustration

the feeling is the same
the only difference is
i do not want to cancel it this time
i rather choose to postpone it
i could not!
but only to delay it
from morning to afternoon

i was feeling so mad
i was feeling so awful
making me feel like i'm going to be in a rush
or was it because i have prepared myself mentally
that it is going to be in the morning?
thus i could not take it when i was told to delay it
or was it because i am going to lose the few precious hours
when initially we could spend those hours together?

when a plan turns out to be so important or meaningful to me
why must it have so many blocks ahead?

does he even know how i feel right now?

*~ Crap Post ~*

Dearest the one who has the job similar to Santa Clause, but mainly taking charge of money or birthday wishes,

To sum it up, i have been a very good girl this year when it comes to spending. I seriously save up to get what i want. But until this moment, part of the money that i saved up had gone to necessity. When i mention necessity, i mean it! If not necessity, then it must be something extremely important. Partly contribution to my driving license. Buying a new pair of spectacles; i don't want to spoil my eyes further during this exam period. Going for a trip after the final exam. By the way, i study very hard too! Real hard.

I admit that i still splurge like nobody's business but it really happens once in blue moon, i swear. The spending is still within what i have saved. Lunch in college is just at mamak stalls having roti canai (the cheapest) to nasi goreng (4 bucks is the most); definitely lesser than the amount i spend on public transports everyday. That's why i tend to spend a little bit more during weekends.

Besides good surprises, all i wish for my 21st birthday is an Ipod Touch, something that i always want so badly. I don't mind if it is 8 GB, but of course, it will be best if it is 32 GB. You see, at least i am not asking for a Blackberry. Thus, be kind to me, drop me an Ipod Touch! Otherwise, drop me a few hundred bucks. I don't mind contributing another few hundred bucks on my own.

Yours truly,
Autumn.

PS: If this person really exists....

~* Bye Stress, Hi Stress *~

Bye bye, stress. After one week, i finally got the chance to meet him. Both of us are really busy preparing for our final examination but we manage to spend some time with each other. I always enjoy his company. Sadness and all those negative feelings will fade away very quickly whenever he is around. Afterall, i don't believe that continuously stressing myself to study will work on me.

Spending the last three days at home studying was not easy. Most of the time, i got distracted. I always felt hungry. I always felt sleepy. I watched television. I went online. I have the habit of listen to songs while studying. Songs may be helpful but at the same time, songs can be distracting. The distracting part is when i start to daydream according to what songs are being played. Good songs lead to good daydream. Bad songs lead to tears and frustration. I bet the same things will continue to happen for the next two weeks until i have finished my final examination. So, hi again, stress.

I also bet that i am going to gain weight during this period. Although i cut down the food proportion, eat during main meals only, avoid snacking unhealthy snacks and avoid eating oily food, i still take carbohydrates and just sit down studying for exam without exercising.

May God bless me.
