*~ Sanuki Udon @ Taman Bukit Desa ~*

I read about this place many months ago and initially, i had the urge to go. But later on, the urge just disappeared. Then it was bf who wanted to go there. Many bloggers had gone to this place before and subsequently wrote reviews on the food and prices. You can just type in the name and search for the address easily.

It was full house when mum, bf and i arrived. The place is very small and run by a Japanese man. This Japanese man really has nicely trimmed eyebrows and rippling muscles. We also noticed that there are quite a lot of Japanese customers in the restaurant.

Bf and i shared a bowl of Curry Udon which is the most expensive udon in the menu, RM7.00 with basic ingredients. And i added an egg which cost additional RM1.00.

We also shared a bowl of cold Dry Cha Cheong Style Udon (RM6.00). Mum had this too but her one was hot. All the udon in the menu can be served either hot or cold except for Curry Udon.

Sanuki Udon serves the udon in basic ingredients. However, you still can add your own topping(s). For example, we had kakiage (RM2.00 per piece). I love this big piece of deep fried onion and carrot shreds. I love the sweetness of the onion. But i love it even more when it is dipped into the soy sauce that gives a hint of saltiness.

Another topping we had was Karaage. RM3.00 for 3 small pieces of deep fried boneless chicken. It was piping hot! Err... Perhaps, the portion is small but considering the rest are very affordable, i still can bear with it.

Sigh... When reading back other bloggers' reviews, i realised there is another new outlet at Wisma Cosway. It's so much nearer than going to the outlet at Taman Bukit Desa. I will definitely visit Sanuki Udon again, whether at Taman Bukit Desa or Wisma Cosway.
