~* No Plastic Bag Bazaar *~

I attended No Plastic Bag Bazaar with boyfriend today. It was held at Noble Banquet, Jalan Bukit Bintang. They invited some celebraties to come and raise funds for organizations like Furry Friends Farm (FFF) and Malaysian Nature Society (MNS). I love the bazaar. It was not like those ciplak bazaar where people are selling useless and low quality stuffs.

With the tagline "Shopaholics Go Green", no plastic bags were provided to patrons, except for this green bag sponsored by Honda. There were also several booths that provided shopping bags using the same material.

Ooo.... There were so many stuffs there that i wanted to buy regardless of whether i really need them or not. Sooo adorable.

Accessories.

The bows were handmade!

Shoes, bags, clothes.

Organic soaps.

Organic fertilizer?

*~ 1901's Pau & Ko Hyang ~*

Today, i met boyfriend later than usual because he had classes to attend. We went to 1901 for snack to try out the new product in conjunction of the Ramadan month. It had been a really long time since my last visit. I was missing it.

He wore this and he felt great because he got the attention. He was proud that people kept on staring at his shirt him rather than me. New shirt given by his friend.

Luckily i am not too f.ugly to stand next to him. Otherwise, i would have recommended him to only wear this shirt at home or whenever i am not next to him.

Coney Dog Pau.
Instead of sausage bun, they use pau.

*Arrrrrrr......!*

Addictive!

Last time, mum used to buy New York Chicken for me but now, i will go for other choices as well since they also offer chicken as well rather than beef alone. One set includes mashed potato and a drink.

We watched Up in the evening. Nice movie. We laughed all the way till the end of the movie.

Dinner was at Ko Hyang, The Gardens Mall. The Korean cuisine near Din Tai Fung and Cold Storage. The one next to San Terri Cottage. Boyfriend's idea to try the food there.

I love the anchovies. Whenever i have Korean food, i would look forward for that.

Jap Chea.
Glass noodle but it was not fried, i think.
At least i know it was not oily at all compared to other fried glass noodle.

Kim Chi fried rice.
A nice one. ^^
Ko Hyang uses brown rice to serve the customers. Even the Kim Chi fried rice i had used brown rice too.

~* Indulge @ Tropicana City Mall *~

Amanda, Gorgan, John, Pui Ling and i were supposed to have lunch at Fairy's Garden, Damansara Uptown to celebrate Pui Ling's belated birthday. But it was a disappointment when we found out that they are moving out. Argh! So, we made our way to Tropicana Mall to see if we could get a nice place for lunch besides Indulge. Eventually, we really ended up at Indulge for lunch.

We went for the sets provided for lunch and there were five choices. Since there were five of us, we thought that it would be the best if we ordered all the five choices. The sets range from RM12.90 to RM15.90, inclusive of an iced lemon tea for each set. Additional of soup of the day would cost another RM4.00.

One pumpkin soup for the five of us just to get the taste of it.

Aglio Olio (RM12.90)
I like it because of th strong garlic smell.
I dislike it because of the tasteless poached egg that did not go well with the pasta. Also, i think angelhair is not really suitable for Aglio Olio. At least, they should use spaghetti or linguine.

One of the choices was not available. That was why we ordered two of this.

My favourite!
Pistachio Crusted Tuna Belly (RM15.90).
One word: Fantastic!
I also like the wedges that they served as the side dish.

Gourmet Beef Medallions (RM15.90).
Owh, i don't take beef but all of them who take it and actually ate this, praised this dish to the maximum!

Lamb Skewer (RM15.90).
Nothing much about this except that the butter rice attracted me.

Creme Brulee (RM 9.00) as wished by the birthday girl.
I don't like this because it was not served with a layer of crunchy caramelized sugar on top of it. The type of creme brulee i love is the one crunchy on top and soft and smooth underneath. To me, the best creme brulee is still from Michaelangelo.

Strawberry!

Again, most of the human pictures are with Gorgan but this time, the best group picture is with me! XD

Amanda, me, Gorgan, Pui Ling, John.

I had enough during lunch but the rest wanted to eat more as they did not have enough at Indulge. Hence, we went to Uncle John for teatime.

Pui Ling's crispy nuggets.

Ice-cream toast.
5/5 for this!
Old Town sucks when it comes to this.

Enrich Chocolate.
Again, Old Town sucks when it comes to this drink.

The only thing i love about Old Town is the unlimited honey provided for the french toast.

*~ From Seremban... ~*

... with truckloads of love.

Siew pausssss........

Fresh & crispy.

Thanks boyfriend for bringing them back all the way from Seremban. It might not be special to you but it means a lot to me. He never fails to bring back something for me whenever he is out of KL.

Just nice for teatime :)

~* Friday Lunch @ Delicious *~

After surviving just on buns for few days in college, i could finally have good food. Why buns? Breaks in between classes are not enough for me to have proper lunch. I hate eating a proper meal in a rush. I will feel very uncomfortable during lectures after eating until so full and i will be feeling very guilty at the same time because i am not doing anything else physically besides sitting in the class! Thus, eating buns is the best. Also, it saves my money! You know, especially when so many people's birthday are coming soon.

Anyway, yesterday was Mun Yee's birthday and today, Sharon, Seak Ling and i had lunch with her at Delicious, Mid Valley.

The birthday girl had Fish & Chips that she could not finish later on.

Sharon's Traditional Tomato Spaghettini.
Simple but yet this was tastier than the food i ordered!

Seak Ling's Mushroom Mascarpone Spaghettini with lemon zest, walnut and coriander.
I wanted to eat this always besides Smoked Salmon Angelhair but i did not order this because i don't like walnut! It was a very wrong decision! It tasted so nice and creamy with a little bit of lemon taste. Again, it was better than the one i ordered!

My Chicken Avocado with pesto on toasted country white (means bread la!). So, yes, i ordered this! "Healthy" is the only positive comment i can give here. It did not worth my money at all! The taste was not really there for someone who had been surviving on buns in college for the past few days. "Tasteless". Oh ya, being foolish, i ordered something that had to do with bread again. I should have order any kind of the pastas and it would be still better than this, in terms of taste and value!

Anyway, take a look at the big chunks of chicken breast meat. @.@

Argh! I want to dine at Delicious again for its Smoked Salmon Angelhair! Bring me there!

Okay, picture time.

Mun Yee and Sharon.

Sharon with the nicely posed me.

Only four of us. Intimate enough. The number of people was also enough for a mahjong session.

Later on in the evening, Sharon and Mun Yee ditched us. Haihzzz... Haha...
So, i went dating with Seak Ling. We went to Kwong Woh Tong as she needed some herbal tea.

Yea man... The damn bitter herbal tea. Something i will not go for.

Eew~

After coming out from Kwong Woh Tong, we passed by Krispy Kreme and got free doughnuts! Wheeee! A consolation to me after spending on the non-value-added meal. A consolation to Seak Ling for finishing the damn bitter herbal tea.

Okay, back to my bun-eating days.
